As a Black American woman, I am so thankful for the great service that military men and women do as well as the heartfelt contributions of people like Whitney Houston. It also feels strangely racial to have people bashing a Black woman who was in the church, Black identified and really wealthy. I mean, am I the only one who notices that? Why can’t they just let us celebrate one of our own who was almost a total success. It’s not like there are Black women multimillionaires dropping like flies every day.

I am so glad for this. I have deleated friends for this bashing and have been ridiculed for my comments against such disgusting lack for human life. We do what we do for love of mankind and good over evil. I don’t need a red carpet or cameras. I received a standing ovation when I returned from Iraq in the Atlanta airport. I have my fame, my pride within, for the sacrifices made to make our world a better place for our children. “I believe the children are our future”. I am an American Soldier, Guardian of Americans. I apologize for my fellow comrades for their lack of American pride who have fallen short of the glory of God. “A Soldiers Creed” explains our duties of armed forces. My sympathy for Whitney and her family.
